Welcome to the Privacy Statement for the Jotto online service at jotto.me (the "Services"). We try to help users connect their thoughts with the organization sponsoring the Services (the "Sponsor"). By using our Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, analysis, transformation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your Content, including Personal Data, as described here.

  • With your opt-in consent for sharing with others.
  • With Sponsors, Partners, and affiliates to provide the Services.

  • Optional mail/email communications; you can opt out of marketing messages.

  • Required by law, including for fraud, safety, national security, or legal process.

4. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, copies of, and amendments to your Personal Data, and you may request deletion where permitted. Once you share Content publicly, it may be re-shared by others.

Services are not directed to persons under 13. If you are a parent/guardian and learn a person under 18 provided Personal Data without consent, contact us at connect@jotto.ai and we will remove the information and terminate access if possible.

We may modify this Privacy Statement from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when posted. If you do not agree, you may terminate use of the Services.

7. Different Locations, Different Laws

Laws vary by location. U.S. law applies to data we collect and store in the U.S. Federal and state privacy laws (including California rights), and GDPR/UKDPA rights may apply based on your location. Transfers outside the EEA/UK rely on applicable derogations.
